We handle the physical processing, testing, and recording of your gear — then provide you a cash offer. If you accept our offer, there are no processing fees. If you decline, you pay only for the services performed.
Full Audit (Default)
Our standard audit ensures every detail is recorded to maximize resale value and data security. This ensures the highest offer for your gear.
Includes:
- Unpacking & Sorting
- Recording part numbers & serial numbers
- Recording cosmetic issues / acceptability
- Functional testing with reports
- Data wipe and factory reset
- Subcomponent part number recording — includes power supplies, fans, rack mounts, and installed optics
- Repalletizing
Applies to: Switches, Routers, Access Points, Firewalls, Chassis, Blades, Servers, Storage Units, and Hard Drives
Basic Audit
Customers may request a simplified audit — ideal when value recovery is less important.
Includes:
- Unpacking & Sorting
- Recording part numbers & serial numbers
- Recording cosmetic issues / acceptability
- Repalletizing
Excludes: Functional testing, data wiping, factory reset, subcomponent recording
Quick Audit
Customers may request a Quick Audit — ideal when the suspected value is low.
Includes:
- Unpacking
- Recording part numbers & Quantities
- Repalletizing
Excludes: Functional testing, data wiping, factory reset, subcomponent recording, Serial Numbers, Cosmetic issues / acceptability
After the Audit
Once your audit is complete:
- You’ll receive a purchase offer for your equipment.
- If you accept, we purchase the equipment and all processing fees are waived.
- If you decline, you may either:
- Have the equipment returned as-is, or
- Choose additional services to prepare the gear for resale.
